SAVOIR FAIRE Inside story: the making of our new book "TAG Heuer Carrera: The Race Never Stops"

They say you should never judge a book by its cover. But this one’s special, from the front cover to the back and everything in between. To mark the Carrera turning 60, we’re releasing TAG Heuer Carrera: The Race Never Stops, a book that traces the epic journey of the collection — from its origins to its iconic status to its enduring legacy. Packed with stunning photographs, riveting anecdotes, and historic references, this meticulously crafted piece is the perfect read for watch enthusiasts and collectors.

We’re taking you behind the scenes, to the printing press at Deux Ponts Manufacture, a family-owned printer based in France, which has been mastering this craft since 1935. They helped us bring this book to life through a method called offset lithography, in which the inked image is transferred from a plate to a rubber blanket, and then back to the printing surface. While all this is now done with the help of machines, it wouldn’t have been possible without their deep knowledge and skilled hands, making us perfect partners, both with vast savoir-faire and a long heritage in our respective crafts. 

TAG Heuer Carrera: The Race Never Stops will be available at TAG Heuer boutiques and bookstores from October 2023.
