While the revolutionary 2026 regulations loom on the horizon, 2025 serves as a crucial transition year, with teams refining their aerodynamic efficiency and power unit reliability. Key adjustments include revised tire allocations aimed at sustainability and strategic complexity, as well as evolutions in car setups to enhance overtaking opportunities.
TAG Heuer Precision at the Heart of the Race
One of the most significant introductions this season is TAG Heuer’s custom-engineered pit lane clocks, which blend precision with heritage. These1.2-meter (4ft) diameter timekeeping instruments are inspired by the original 1986 TAG Heuer Formula 1 Series 1 watch, showcasing the brand’s deep connection to motorsport. Standing nearly 1.2 meters (4 feet) tall and weighing an impressive 35kg (77 lbs), each clock is crafted with lightweight yet robust materials, ensuring durability even as high-speed race cars thunder past the pit lane. The aluminum hands—featuring the TAG Heuer shield at 3, 6, 9, and 12 o’clock—enhance legibility, while the integrated LED lighting guarantees precision timing in all conditions.
Designed to integrate seamlessly into Formula 1®’s networked timing system, these clocks are recalibrated before every race to ensure absolute precision across every circuit. Strategically placed throughout pit lanes, they will define every moment of action, from practice sessions to critical race-day pit stops.
Beyond the pit lane, TAG Heuer will also introduce the TAG Heuer Monaco clock, a timepiece honoring the iconic TAG Heuer Monaco, famously worn by Steve McQueen in the 1971 movie Le Mans. These clocks will stand tall in VIP areas and paddock hospitality zones, further cementing TAG Heuer’s presence in the sport’s most prestigious locations.

Over the years, this partnership has seen four World Drivers’ Championships with Max Verstappen, a driver who defines the precision, resilience, and relentless drive that both Oracle Red Bull Racing and TAG Heuer stand for.
At the FORMULA 1 LOUIS VUITTON AUSTRALIAN GRAND PRIX 2025, Verstappen will wear a custom TAG Heuer Monaco Split-Seconds Chronograph in the paddock. This timepiece was designed to reflect his dominance in the sport. One of the subdials carries four stars and the years of his world titles, with ‘World Champion’ inscribed beneath them. A second subdial bears his signature lion emblem alongside his name, while the number ‘1’ at the 1 o’clock position is a bold statement of his championship successes. Oracle Red Bull Racing racer and rising star Liam Lawson will also take to the track with a TAG Heuer Formula 1 Chronograph x Oracle Red Bull Racing strapped around his wrist, encapsulating the adrenaline of Formula 1®.
