Sydney McLaughlin-Levrone: A New World Record

It’s incredible. Sydney McLaughlin-Levrone is once again the world record holder for the 400-meter hurdles, finishing in 50.37 seconds. This achievement adds to her already impressive career, which includes being the first woman in history to break both the 52-second and 51-second barriers in this event. But that’s not all: at just 25, she has extended her collection of accolades (including three World Championship gold medals) by winning gold in the Women’s 4 x 400m Relay. Her performance is a true inspiration for young athletes around the globe. Congratulations!

Fred Kerley: The Sprinting Phenomenon

One of the most feared athletes in his generation, Fred Kerley is also one of the fastest men on the planet, and at 29, the Texan has been proving it since the start of his career. A former 400m runner and 2019 World Championship bronze medalist, Kerley reached the pinnacle of sprinting with a 100m world title in 2022 in Eugene, Oregon. After a silver medal in 2021, the bronze medal won this year is further testament of his talent and dedication. His lightning speed and ability to stay focused under pressure continue to elevate American athletics. He embodies the determination that TAG Heuer holds dear.

Letsile Tebogo has made his mark in the history of athletics. On April 30, 2022, at just 18 years and 327 days old, he became the youngest sprinter ever to run 100m in under 10 seconds. A year later, at the World Championships in Budapest, he became the first African athlete to step onto the 100m podium at the World Championships. This year, Letsile Tebogo continued to make history by winning Botswana’s first-ever gold medal (Men’s 200m), paired with a silver (Men’s 4 x 400m Relay) in such a prestigious track and field event. Summer McIntosh may only be 18, but her achievements are what some athletes dream of achieving in a lifetime. Already a four-time world champion and world record holder in the 400m individual medley, the Canadian swimmer added to her collection with four medals: three gold (Women’s 200m Individual Medley, Women’s 200m Butterfly, Women’s 400m Individual Medley) and one silver (Women’s 400m Freestyle). The kitesurfing legend continues to share her passion by participating in various events worldwide.

Ana Peleteiro: the Triple Jump enters a new era

Ana Peleteiro ended 2023 by reaching 14th place in the world triple-jump rankings. This year, she intends to do even better. She secured 3rd place at the World Indoor Athletics Championships and clinched 1st place at the World Championships in Rome, with a jump of 14.85 m. A few weeks later, in France, she again stood out with a 14.59 m jump. These achievements affirm her status as one of the most outstanding athletes of her generation.
