Behold the new TAG Heuer Connected Calibre E4 – Porsche Edition: a luxury timepiece, inspired by the design of the iconic all-electric Porsche Taycan collection and which provides features to Porsche owners, allowing them to view information from their cars, on their watches. Sounds too cool to be true, right? Well, we assure you it’s very real. And here’s everything you need to know about the watch that connects you to your ride.

The Porsche Taycan is a thing of beauty. Electric in every way, it is one of the purest expressions of a Porsche electric sports car, boasting a timeless and instantly recognizable look. The neat blend of performance with everyday usability. All of this makes the car an ideal muse for the new TAG Heuer Connected Calibre E4 – Porsche Edition. Both the physical watch and the software have design features in the same shade of frozen blue used in the iconic electric Taycan, which evokes the car’s exterior. 

If you own a compatible Porsche model (you can find the list on tagheuer.com), you can connect your watch to your car. The watch offers complications which display information directly on the watch face. To do this, all you have to do is connect your watch to your car using the WearOS MyPorsche app.

As of now, there are four complications. The first complication shows how much of the car’s battery is left. The second shows “car autonomy” information, displaying how many kilometers (or miles) remain before the car’s battery or gas run out. The third complication is a shortcut to the WearOS MyPorsche app, which enables users to quickly control their vehicle heating and air-conditioning. The last complication shows the total mileage driven in the car.

To activate these features, you’ll need your Porsche ID, Porsche Connect subscription and the MyPorsche app* on your watch and phone.

The design of the new TAG Heuer Connected Calibre E4 – Porsche Edition is filled with numerous features which evoke Porsche’s blue Taycan, with a large 45mm case in black titanium, highlighted with details in the distinctive frozen blue metallic shade seen on the car. The case is made of sandblasted black titanium, giving the watch a light, sporty giving the watch a light, sporty feel, and the black ceramic polished bezel has a dedicated scale going from zero to 400, referencing the Porsche car’s speed. The black steel crown surrounded with black rubber is highlighted with the TAG Heuer shield in frozen blue lacquer, and the pushers also boast the same iconic blue shade.

The watch’s strap has been built to evoke the iconic design used in the interior of the Porsche cars. Made of carbon-like black calfskin with blue stitching, it echoes the leather finishing inside the car in terms of both color and structure.

The TAG Heuer Connected Calibre E4 – Porsche Edition comes with an exclusive watch face, available only to owners of the special Porsche smartwatch. The watch face was inspired by printed circuit boards and racing circuits, offering an animated visual effect which connects TAG Heuer watches and Porsche cars with a feeling of technology and speed.
