SAVOIR FAIRE NEW DEPTHS: TAG HEUER UNVEILS THE ULTIMATE DIVING WATCH
There are regular diving watches, and then there are those used by the professionals. The TAG Heuer Aquaracer has always belonged in the latter category, and with the release of the new TAG Heuer Aquaracer Professional 1000 Superdiver, TAG Heuer is continuing this legacy of robust and reliable excellence.
The TAG Heuer Aquaracer Professional 1000 Superdiver is the latest manifestation of the expertise TAG Heuer have been refining for 40 years. The 1000m Diver marked TAG Heuer’s explosive entry into the world of professional dive watches in 1982, followed by the Super Professional in 1984. Now the TAG Heuer Aquaracer Professional 1000 Superdiver takes the baton from these iconic timepieces and runs with it, reaching a new standard in exceptional performance.
Made entirely from grade 5 titanium, the Aquaracer Professional 1000 Superdiver has a steel-like finish, outstanding ergonomics, and comes with a custom waterproof case designed in harmony with the timepiece. No detail has been overlooked in the pursuit of the ultimate dive watch, including remarkable features and colour combinations that maximise visibility, no matter how deep or how dark. The hour indicator is more pronounced than that of the classic Aquaracer, and the minute and second hands are a vibrant orange, designed to stand out against the dark blue of the greatest depths. The 45mm case sports a bold but sophisticated look, with a thickness of just 15.75mm, enabling the watch to withstand extreme pressures while still being one of the slimmest and most elegant dive watches available. On top of the classic accreditations, the timepiece has received ISO 6425:2018 certification and is guaranteed for five years.
This launch marks the beginning of a long-term collaboration in pursuit of exceptional performance between TAG Heuer and Kenissi Manufacture SA. The release of the TAG Heuer Aquaracer Professional 1000 Superdiver is the debut of a brand-new manufacture movement, the calibre TH30-00, certified COSC (Contrôle Officiel Suisse des Chronomètres) and produced to TAG Heuer’s exacting specifications by Kenissi Manufacture SA. The calibre’s extensive 70 hours power reserves allow for the watch to be left all weekend without any loss of accuracy.
