SAVOIR FAIRE Precision Through Innovation

WHERE LIMITS ARE PUSHED
Evolved from the TAG Heuer Institute into a full innovation laboratory in 2025, the TAG Heuer LAB operates at the intersection of materials science and watchmaking. Its scientists explore matter at the atomic level using advanced microscopy and X-ray analysis.
The results are transformative. The TH-Carbonspring, a proprietary carbon oscillator developed over nine years, delivers superior chronometric performance through lightweight, shock-resistant, and amagnetic properties. The TH-Titanium alloy, refined through four years of research, achieves 30% higher strength and reveals its crystalline structure via custom thermal treatment.
With over a dozen patents in five years, the TAG Heuer LAB embodies controlled risk-taking in pursuit of measurable excellence.
TRADITION TRANSFORMED
Avant-Garde Horlogerie is TAG Heuer’s vision of high-end watchmaking—a philosophy that diverges from traditional savoir-faire. It’s the pursuit of purposeful design, from openworked movement architecture to daring reinterpretations of classics. Sports-bred complications, advanced materials, and elevated finishing—both inside and out.
Where robustness meets lightness, and precision meets performance.
FROM THE LAB TO THE WRIST
This philosophy materializes through timepieces that embody years of research. The Monaco collection became the canvas for the TAG Heuer LAB’s most audacious experiments.
At Geneva Watch Days 2025, the TAG Heuer Monaco Flyback Chronograph TH-Carbonspring, limited to 50 pieces, integrated this new oscillator into a forged carbon case with a spiral-engraved dial echoing its geometry.
Unveiled later that year at Dubaï Watch Week, the TAG Heuer Monaco Split-Seconds Chronograph Air 1, limited to 30 pieces, channeled this same avant-garde vision into structural innovation with its hollowed titanium case created via Selective Laser Melting housing honeycomb lattices in solid gold, inspired by race-car aerodynamics. At its heart, the Calibre TH81-00—TAG Heuer’s most complex chronograph movement—redefines dual-event precision through twin column wheels and a vertical clutch.
WHEN INNOVATION TAKES SHAPE
The split-seconds complication in the TAG Heuer Carrera collection extends this spirit, pairing technological excellence with refined sophistication. In the TAG Heuer Carrera Split-Seconds Chronograph, grade 5 titanium meets a double glassbox construction, and a clear sapphire dial with subtly smoked chronograph counters reveals intricate finishing.
Each numbered piece proves that innovation at TAG Heuer adapts, evolves, transforms. From the TAG Heuer LAB’s microscopes to the hands of master watchmakers, every innovation fuels a single ambition: to measure time at its highest level of performance.
