THE TIMEKEEPER OF RACING LEGENDS

For decades, TAG Heuer has reigned supreme on the racetrack. Over 230 Grands Prix wins. More than 500 podium finishes. 15 World Drivers’ Championship titles. 11 World Constructors’ Championship titles. From iconic circuits to unforgettable finishes, TAG Heuer has timed them all, shaping the legends of drivers like Ayrton Senna and Max Verstappen.

THE UNRIVALED SPONSOR OF RACETRACKS

In 1971, Heuer made history by becoming the first watch brand to sponsor a Formula 1 ® team, with its logo emblazoned on the cars of Scuderia Ferrari. This marked the beginning of a long and fruitful involvement with the sport, including serving as the Official Timekeeper of Formula 1® from 1992 to 2003. Its partnerships with winning teams like Ferrari (1971-1979), McLaren (1986-2015), and Oracle Red Bull Racing (2016-present), further solidified its place within F1®’s most iconic moments.

  • The pioneering Le Mans Centigraph, developed by Heuer In 1971, was the first timing system capable of displaying times to a precision of 1/1000th of a second.

A LEGACY OF TIMEKEEPING PIONEERS

Beyond partnerships, the Swiss Maison’s contribution to motorsport timekeeping is defined by groundbreaking innovations. From the first to achieve 1/100th of a second in 1916 with the Mikrograph to the premier of 1/1,000th of a second in 1966 with Microtimer, TAG Heuer has consistently pushed the boundaries of precision. The introduction of the Le Mans Centigraph in 1971, capable of measuring multiple cars to 1/1000th of a second, was an unprecedented achievement that cemented Heuer as a leader in motorsport timing.

« The Centigraph could time a number of cars simultaneously with great precision and everyone immediately acknowledged the break-through the instrument represented for timekeeping in the pits.

ICONS OF RACING

This passion for racing has fueled the creation of iconic watch collections, each reflecting a distinct chapter of the company’s motorsport heritage. The revolutionary square-cased Heuer Monaco presented in 1969, the Heuer Monza, launched in 1976 to commemorate Ferrari’s 1975 World Championship, and the Heuer Silverstone which debuted in 1974, honoring the British racing circuit. Along with the TAG Heuer Carrera and TAG Heuer Formula 1 collections, these timepieces continue to embody the adrenaline and triumph that define TAG Heuer.

From the golden age of racing to the cutting-edge circuits of today, TAG Heuer remains an integral part of motorsport, embodying precision, and an unwavering commitment to excellence. As we return to the track, we are not just coming back—we are coming home. The racetrack forged us; speed, podiums, and the roar of engines are in our blood.
