The four chronographs in the series come in four bold colors and materials, namely orange, blue, black and 18K 5N solid pink gold. These were used for the integrated rubber strap, the chrono hand, quarter-seconds track, and crown ring. Each color stands out from the grade-2 brushed titanium case, with the black version coated in DLC. The sides have been carefully hollowed out, finely grained and engraved with three lines that recall piston rings. The bezel is made of black ceramic. The dial features a bold openwork structure that organically frames the sub-dials and the emblematic shield logo.

Visible behind the dial is the state-of-the-art, automatic TH20-00 caliber, which will run for a full 80 hours at 28,800 vph. The chronograph mechanism is precisely controlled by a vertical clutch and column wheel visible on the movement side of the watch. The skeletonized date disc adds an extra touch of tech as it passes over a luminescent revealer at 6 o’clock on the bluemodel.

TAG Heuer Carrera Chronograph Tourbillon Extreme Sport

The other two TAG Heuer Carrera Chronograph Extreme Sport models have received a tourbillon for even more precision. One comes in a sportive titanium case with a forged carbon bezel and a tachymeter scale. The transparent case back reveals the designed shield logo as the centerpiece of the bidirectional rotor. The second comes in a noble 18k 5N solid pink gold, and Titanium case. The same precious material is used for the bezel: 18K 5N solid pink gold. Its chronograph hand is pink gold-plated, and the subdials are ringed with plated gold. The black crown also features a gold-plated ring. The tourbillon at 6 o’clock is driven by the updated TH20-09 automatic caliber that will keep the watch running precisely for 65 hours.
