To mark the occasion, the partners teamed up with Hollywood star and racing driver, Patrick Dempsey. An avid TAG Heuer and Porsche ambassador, Dempsey loves the idea of the partnership. “Two iconic brands that I’m very close to, and I’ve been working with for years, to have them come together, and to see the collaboration, the enthusiasm, and the passion – it’s really great!”
Dempsey also got to take the watch and a Porsche out for an exhilarating test drive through ice and snow. There were cameras capturing him drifting across an icy track that was bathed in yellow light. A tribute to the colors of the new watch. Dempsey wasn’t the only one who got to enjoy the Ice Experience. A few lucky VIPs were given a taste of it too. The perfect way to celebrate a new chapter in the history of TAG Heuer and Porsche.
Two colors, one exhilarating design
The colors of the new TAG Heuer Carrera Porsche Limited Edition are striking. Yellow is woven into various elements of the timepiece. It’s inspired by Porsche’s racing yellow Pantone, reserved by the manufacturer for its sportiest vehicles. The other key color in this limited edition is black. It reinforces the brightness of the yellow with a contrasting effect. Look closer and you’ll find more stunning details. The black dial has a texture that’s inspired by the metallic bodywork of Porsche’s cars.
