Rarely in a generation does an athlete emerge who redefines their sport. Since joining the elite WTA professional circuit in 2013, 23-year old Japanese player Naomi Osaka has become one of the world’s most explosive and influential tennis players.
Named “Newcomer of the Year” at the 2016 WTA Awards, Osaka was the first Japanese player ever to win a Grand Slam event: the US Open in 2018.
A year later, she went on to win her first Australian Open title, followed by a second US Open title in 2020.
A remarkable athlete, Naomi Osaka is also recognized as a social activist, determined to shape a better world and ignite conversation globally. Passionately committed to the game, she has always stepped up to defend what she believes in.
Through her impressive accomplishments on the court, Osaka boldly expresses the Maison’s founding values: passion for action, high performance, mental strength, and avant-garde spirit.
