The Monte Carlo Rally is one of the oldest and most demanding rallies in the world. Unlike traditional racetracks, the rally unfolds on snow-covered mountain roads, with treacherous night stages testing drivers and their equipment to the limit. In 1965, Porsche entered the rally with the recently launched Porsche 911.

The TAG Heuer Carrera Chronosprint x Porsche Rallye honors this milestone with a design steeped in heritage. The black shimmering dial and vibrant red accents evoke vintage Porsche dashboards, while intricate details like the 6 o’clock and 9 o’clock subdials reference RPM counters and speedometer markings from the era. The innovative TH20-08 movement mimics the acceleration dynamics of the Porsche 911, seamlessly blending automotive ingenuity with Swiss watchmaking. The red lines on the right side of the flange are a graphical representation of speed, paying homage to the 0 to 100 km/h sprint achieved by the Porsche 911 “147” during the race, calculated acceleration of 8.4 seconds—an improvement over the initial 1963 901’s time of 9.1 seconds.

This limited-edition masterpiece is a testament to the enduring partnership between TAG Heuer and Porsche. It celebrates their shared legacy of precision and performance.
